About Quoteen

Quoteen is a free online calculator and tools platform built to help everyday people make faster, more informed decisions — whether you’re tracking your fitness goals, planning your household budget, converting measurements for a recipe, or working through a maths problem.

We believe that useful tools shouldn’t be locked behind paywalls, apps, or sign-up forms. Everything on Quoteen is completely free, works instantly in your browser, and requires no account.

What we offer

Quoteen covers a wide range of calculation needs across health and fitness, personal finance, science, mathematics, date and time, gardening, construction, and unit conversion. Our calculators are designed to be simple to use, accurate, and genuinely helpful — with clear explanations of what each result means and how to act on it.

Who we are

Quoteen was founded in 2022 by Aizaz Khan, an electrical engineer and web developer working with a small group of contributors based in the UK and Pakistan. We started the site because we were frustrated by calculator websites that were cluttered, slow on mobile, or simply gave results without any context or explanation.

We’re committed to continuously improving the tools we offer based on user feedback. If a calculator you need isn’t available yet, or if you notice an error in any of our tools, please reach out — we take accuracy seriously.

Our commitment to accuracy

All formulas used in our calculators are based on established, peer-reviewed standards and widely accepted industry benchmarks. For health-related tools, we reference guidelines from the World Health Organisation (WHO), NHS, and other recognised bodies. For financial tools, we use standard amortisation formulas and publicly available rate structures.

That said, our tools are for informational and educational use only. They are not a substitute for professional medical, financial, or legal advice. Always consult a qualified professional before making important health or financial decisions.

Get in touch

We’d love to hear from you. Whether you have a question about a calculator, a suggestion for a new tool, or you’ve spotted a bug — please use our Contact page to reach us. We read every message and aim to respond within 2 business days.

How we build and check our tools

Every calculator on Quoteen is written and tested by Aizaz Khan, who holds a degree in electrical engineering and works daily with the maths, physics and unit conversions that power these tools. Before a tool goes live, we check its results against worked examples done by hand and against the published source for the formula, such as the international definitions of the yard and pound for our converters or the standard equations taught in UK A-Level and US college courses for our maths and science tools.

Each tool page explains the formula it uses, shows at least one worked example with real numbers, and lists the assumptions behind the result, so you can check the answer yourself rather than taking it on trust. When a formula has several accepted versions, we aim to state which one the tool uses.

Corrections and updates

If you find a mistake, tell us through the Contact page and include the inputs you used. We fix confirmed errors as a priority and update the page’s explanation at the same time. Our guides are reviewed when official figures they rely on change, for example UK bank holidays, tax years or NHS guidance.

Advertising and independence

Quoteen is free to use and may be supported by advertising. Ads never influence the results our calculators give or the content of our guides, and we do not accept payment to recommend products or services.
